Someone once told me that I will rise to be great, strive to be great, succeed at being great. But nobody told me what I had to go through in order to be great. I had to find out for myself, but they did warn me, ''It was not going to be easy.'' I accepted the challenges and started my journey. All I had with me was my faith and wits. Now, I'm in the spring of this journey. I'm tired and feel like I can't continue on, but I remember what somebody once told me - I will rise to be great, strive to be great, succeed at being great. I persevered and now I'm one step closer towards the finish line. As I reflect back on my life, I recall all the trials and tribulations I have gone through, and I smile.
