From sipping sabroso Pumpkin Spice Lattes to jumping in colorful leaves, I truly enjoy Fall. Autumn has always been one of my favorite seasons. It gives me a sense of calmness and composure and that's what I love about Autumn, along with Starbuck's seasonal drinks and the marvelous scenery.

Seasons Change
Someone once told me that I will rise to be great, strive to be great, succeed at being great. But nobody told me what I had to go through in order to be great. I had to find out for myself, but they did warn me, ''It was not going to be easy.'' I accepted the challenges and started my journey. All I had with me was my faith and wits. Now, I'm in the spring of this journey. I'm tired and feel like I can't continue on, but I remember what somebody once told me - I will rise to be great, strive to be great, succeed at being great. I persevered and now I'm one step closer towards the finish line. As I reflect back on my life, I recall all the trials and tribulations I have gone through, and I smile. I've become stronger, wiser, and most importantly - I've risen, strived, and now I'm succeeding at being great. - Sierra Sha"Lon

Tips On Being Optimistic When People Mistreat You
Today, I decided to blog about tips on how to be optimistic when people mistreat you. In one particular class, there are a few girls that share dirty looks and comments about me. At first, I was scared that this situation would turn into something worse. I was also sad, because I don't like being made fun of. I felt alone. But then I realized, there are so many adolescent teens who have experienced this issue, and I will overcome this issue with my head held high, because I have God and the love of my family. Below is a list of tips on how to be optimistic when people are mean to you: 1) Smile. Even when people are giving you nasty looks and talking behind your back, smile because it brings out your beauty and says a lot about you. It shows that you are the bigger person and not reacting to their actions 2) Ignore. I know it's hard to ignore all the nasty comments, but if you keep ignoring them, eventually they will lose interest and move on to something else. 3) Pray for them. God tells us to pray for our enemies and he promises that he will make our enemies be at peace with us. 4) Hold your head up high and stay true to who you are. Keep moving forward and don't look back because you have a promising future ahead of you. 5) Receive it as a compliment that you got it going on.

Fall Treat
Geek Wise Here! If you're looking for a fall treat, I suggest a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. I usually accompany it with toasted plain bagel with cream cheese. That's it for now. Keep ya posted! Enjoy your weekend!
